KFC is testing new value programs in the Cleveland-Akron-Canton, Ohio, and Tampa Bay-St. Pete, Fla., market from Feb. 23 through March 29, though timing may vary by location depending on performance.

According to the company, the objective is to provide consistent pricing and “generous portions” throughout the week.

For seven days a week in the Cleveland market, customers can select:

7-piece tenders and three sauces

8-piece wings and two sauces

20-piece nuggets and four sauces

The offers are $8 each at participating locations (not including third-party delivery orders).

In the Tampa Bay market, customers can select:

Monday: 24-piece nuggets and four sauces

Tuesday: 8-piece chicken on the bone

Wednesday: 10-piece wings and two sauces

Thursday: 8-piece tenders and four sauces

Friday: 24-piece nuggets and four sauces

The Tampa offers are $10 each at participating locations (not including third-party delivery orders).

The company said the test explores whether everyday formats, versus single promotional days, can better align with how consumers are currently spending. Cleveland’s test was created to provide flexibility, while Tampa’s weekday rotation was designed to drive routine and repeat visits.

“We took two approaches because we’re looking at different ways to bring more flexibility and everyday value to the menu. One focuses on structured weekday offers, while the other evaluates how an everyday option with more variety resonates,” a company spokesperson said. “Together, the hope is that they will help us understand how to further evolve the menu to meet changing customer expectations.”

KFC’s tests come amid a continuing and intensifying value environment that began accelerating throughout the industry in mid-2024 as consumers started pulling back on restaurant visits. Traffic remains soft, though some value platforms have started to resonate, including McDonald’s Extra Value Meals, which helped drive the chain’s 6.8% same-store sales increase in the fourth quarter
